I managed social media channels and created all content at Tuolumne River Trust (TRT). I identified story leads and created content by working closely with restoration, education, and policy program teams.

TRT was newly investing in increased social media output, so I centered my strategy around increasing reach and building brand awareness. To meet these goals in 2024, I focused on producing reels, media-rich carousel posts, and trending, newsworthy stories. I shared high-quality posts, 4+ times a week, increasing reach by 200% on Instagram and 392% on Facebook. This contributed to increased volunteer sign-ups, advocacy action attendance, email conversions, and social media engagement.

Behind the Scenes:
I created TRT’s first organization-wide story-sharing process. By upholding ethical storytelling practices, this process included monthly story-share meetings with program directors, collaborative editorial calendars, remote project management, nimble in-the-moment interviews, documentation days in the field, and editorial consent practices.

As a one-person production unit, I produced 300 multimedia stories in 2024, including videos, photography, interviews, and writing in various forms.
